About the Game
See how far you can go
From grassland to desert, snowy peaks, and a starlit night: dash through the shifting stages. Chain knockouts and keep a no-damage streak alive to send your score climbing.
Special move: Piyo Flash
Learn it at the Title Shop, defeat enemies to fill the gauge, then unleash it to wipe out every enemy on screen and deal heavy damage to bosses.
A boss battle at set distances
Seven bosses in all: the Dark Rooster, Dark Crow, Dark Egg, Dark Serpent, Dark Owl, the gatekeeper Dark Scarecrow, and the Dark Priestess lurking in the Underground.
Every seven rounds, the Underground
Defeat the gatekeeper and a pipe rises beneath your feet, taking you down a one-way path lined with lava, spikes, and spinning pillars of flame. At the very bottom waits the game's toughest enemy: the Dark Priestess.
The Underground comes in five layouts. In the third and the fourth the route splits into an upper and a lower path, and in the fifth it splits three ways — high, middle and low. In the last two, a shelf of rock walls the paths apart, so there is no changing your mind until they meet again. With the Underground Pass, there's also an Underground Mode that runs five of them back to back.
Eight costumes rewrite the fight
Ninja Piyo double jumps, Witch Piyo glides on the air, Samurai Piyo dives into a slash from above, and Cyber Piyo runs with an escort drone.
Bonus rooms down the pipes
Pipes lead to five kinds of bonus rooms: Treasure, Coin, Lucky, and more. The shop sells healing and items, and anything you tuck into the Magic Pouch comes along on every run. The Adventure Bookmark lets you stop mid-run and pick up right where you left off next time.
Encyclopedia and leaderboards
Encyclopedia, achievements, badges, and daily missions, plus five online leaderboards: Score, Distance, Kills, Level and Combo.
